Carson City race, brainchild of gravel pro and part time Tahoe local Pete Stetina. Not your average gravel race. Timed sections, a mechanical bull, tire keg lasso, and a solid purse for the women's race. While many big races have lost the original gravel vibe and turned into aggro hammerfests, this race really does bring the 'spirit of gravel'!

Because let's be honest Kansas vs. beautiful mountains? While this race shares a date with a well-known Kansas based gravel event-- perhaps that might cut down on the super aggro vibe some larger races have gained. Quincy is provides a stunning area, challenging course, and the event is a fundraiser for local trails and the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship's Lost Sierra route. Bring your mountain bike too and check out Downieville the next day!

"Not your grandma's gravel."
Local Reno rider, Michael Leonard created this route as a dirt version of the famed "Lemond Loop". This loop is not to be taken lightly. So far the unofficial 'event' has taken place in October the last 2 years, but may become a formal event soon. Check out the website for more information and all the warnings!
