West Reno/Foothills
Verdi TPT Loop
Arguably one of the best known/most ridden gravel loops in the Reno area, this 36-40 mile route connects Henness Pass Road and the Tahoe-Pyramid-Trail from Crystal Peak Park in Verdi.
Steamboat Ditch Loop
Perfect for a mellow in-town gravel cruise, this route can be easily adapted to various start locations and has many options for shortening the route and/or skipping the final more challenging sections by returning to town at earlier road crossings.
Dog and Long Valley Roads
A shorter distance 28 miles but climbing heavy (~3800') ride out of Verdi. Great ridden either direction.
Ballardini Loop
A 16 mile half singletrack, half pavement loop including the Ballardini trails. Short but the gravel bike lends some extra spice to the trails that are mellow on a mountain bike.
