Bodie Loop
Leaving out of Bridgeport, CA the longer route (57 mi) takes you east to the base of the Sierra, then back across 395 and up to the ghost town of Bodie before descending back into Bridgeport. A shorter option of the loop (37 mi) will proceed south on 395 directly to the turn for Bodie.

Kingston Canyon
Leaving out of Austin, NV this route takes you up and over the Toiyabe Range through Kingston Canyon. An early pavement section heading south along the range becomes beautiful gravel roads just outside of Kingston which continue almost all the way back to Austin. Making a weekend of out it? Hit Spencer Hot Springs nearby or if you want a mountain bike route, a great backcountry loop of the Toiyabe Crest Trail is included as well!
